Porter — Damaged goods and refund

I took packers and movers services from porter.in on 1st Aug where the initial quote was INR 12000, bower just before completion they asked for extra 3000 which I paid as my goods were on the road and moving to my new location.

A study/work table was broken by one of the porter guys while moving it to the new location and the team covered it up with great amount of tape. One of the table legs broke into 2 pieces and the was taped up nicely but broken piece is adjusted in reverse position. The team hid it behind cartons and others goods so that it takes time for me to find out the damage. It wasn’t reported by any of the porter guys.

A day later when I called ported and informed them about the damage, they told me they will solve it for me. Immediately after that I started receiving calls from the local vendor who was responsible for packing and moving my goods. He started with his poor condition and loans that he has to pay and started begging me take the complaint back as porter will deduct the repair amount from him and as per him he is taking loans from market and running this business with porter.in.
I received a call from porter team everyday until 4th Aug where they tried to compensate me with 1K for a table that is worth 15K. I informed the team that the repair cost estimate is around 6.5K. Since then the team had gone silent. No calls, no response to emails. They just said they will call me back and hasn’t happened since last 48 hrs.

This company is running a big scam. The user goods are supposed to be insured while moving from once location to another and these people are running a hoax.
