My father ashok n. kulkarni expired due to medical negligence of ruby hall clinic, pune on 21st sep., 2015.he was taking treatment of colon cancer in that hospital since march, 2015.according to reports he had excellent response to chemotherapy.he was not prescribed medicines for increasing w.b.c count after last chemotherapy.due to this he acquired infection.he was not given immediate emergency treatment when he was having breathing probliem on saturday 20/09/2015. he was shifted in critial icu on nextday morning. but unfortunatey next day he expired due to heart failure due to septecaemic shock.this problem occured because duty doctor in ward had slept at night.while senior doctor were on holiday due to sat-sunday off.patient was shifted in cicu after nearly 24 hrs late and when bp was very low next day Was this information helpful? |
