I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the samsung 55" led tv that i purchased from samsung in january 2023. The tv worked fine initially, but dirty spots started appearing on the edges of the screen in the last three months. I contacted samsung customer service and received a visit and one week later a call from a samsung engineer who claimed that it was just a moire effect and not a defect. However, i disagree with this diagnosis as i have shared pictures of this samsung tv and another one that i own with the engineer, which clearly show the difference where one actually has moire effect while other is faulty. The pictures are attached here for your reference which shows difference between my normal tv and faulty tv. I believe that this is a case of discolouration of the panel, which is covered by the warranty. However samsung is not honouring the warranty and is refusing to repair or replace the tv. The samsung executive on the call said that the repair is outsourced and he cannot help me. This is unacceptable and unfair to me as a loyal customer who has purchased multiple samsung electronics and phones over the years. I request you to solve this issue immediately and provide me with a satisfactory solution. I expect either a free repair or a replacement of the tv. Even when the engineer visited and spoke to his senior and sent him pictures and videos his senior told that according to him the display panel should be replaced since this is not normal but samsung blatantly refused to do anything about it.. Thanks..
