On 23 march, 2017 i purchased a smartphone (Red mi pro duos 64gb) from e-bay.in for rs.15330.00 – order no. [protected]. The phone was delivered by seller - (Nasir_m15) which is working in sarf trading, chennai, tamilnadu.
Please find copies of my receipt and the warranty attached.
I used the phone for two weeks with no problems. On 15 april 2017 the phone lags in online video streaming and also camera captured blurred images. I checked the user manual and followed all the steps listed in the trouble-shooting guide, but nothing helped. The phone appears to be faulty and is now unfit for its purpose – that is, it no longer makes satisfied to me.
I message them through ebay to provide valuable suggestion to me. They told me to return the product after that they suggest what will be done. I returned the phone on 25 april 2017 and asked nasir, their sales representative, if he could repair the phone, or replace it with a new item.
They inspected the phone found minor bug fixes. As it was a discontinued model and your store no longer had any in stock, they explained that i could take take it after repair or take full refund instead of this. I want full refund of my item. They requested e-bay to refund the buyers whole money. They told me that money will be refunded in 7-8 day max because its offline refund.
After 8 day, i called to e bay customer care to take update of my refund process. They told me that refund is under processing wait to update by our team. After that i called to e-bay many times they put the same answer. I talk to e-bay head of department, they told me that money was refunded to seller on 22 may 2017 you talk to seller to refund you.
Seller refuse to take my calls and told me that money refunded only by e-bay.
I was totally confused between seller and mediator (E-bay) who will refund me. Please help me to solve this issue.
I am within my rights to request a refund for a replaced product.
I have noted all e-bay calls reference no's but they rejected the application provided by me or seller.
Please check the bills attached with this document so that you will better understand the dates of my issue.
