Bought Siemens 7kg dryer in 2012 it went out of warranty in[protected]. And by may 2015 the PCB died and they asking to replace at a cost of 10, 000/-. The dryer we hardly used maybe in total not even 100 days as my mom was against using it. I thought Siemens would provide good quality product that lasts but this is pathetic. Just or of warranty and its programmed to get spoilt. New board will cost 1/3 the price of machine and warranty only for 1 month. Then of course it will hey spoilt like this time as soon as warranty is over. Then they will again charge.
Siemens most expensive product least performance product.
Do not buy. Beware of this crooked company

Being fan of German engineering, I purchased Siemens washer and dryer for my home consumption. Both Washer and Dryer died in about same time framer in gap of 4 days max.
Replacement would cost me 30% of purchase price and it comes with just 3 months warranty.
I see huge cost to keep using them. I tried to research on parts and see if I can find used one, or New one, where I can do it myself. Siemens is very successful in hiding it's part's identities.
