I was on first visit to dr. Keerti (Gynac) who after a scan, recommended for removal of my uterus. I have history of pcod with high monthly flow. On which my regular gynac had marina inserted. Which regulated my cycles n minimised flow. Last few months the flow is graduallydecreasing but pain is there and this moth i missed the cycle but pains were there so i decided to check ot out. My regular gynac at emc, ernakulam, was far and due to covid i opted for nearby doc. She was recommended by a doc i know. Though i know sunrise charges double but i didnt expected the doc to be heartless and a business person. She didnt suggested blood test nor to give any other options. Luckily i was determined to get other opinions. I went to emc also got telephonic advise fr a gynac dr. Archana fr mumbai both said its conclusion on infection so antibiotics n certain changes will work. Still if the problem is unbearable like heavy flow n pain which wasn't there in my case, then only hysterectomy is suggested. I dont know what to say. We by default believe doctors. It seems medicines & education is just businesses... Very disappointed... She definitely scared the hell out of me. Never am going to trust a doctor again.
