I am an AML patient having treatment here since 15th september, 2020(case no CT-14853).After 3 cycle of chemotherapy, i was discharged from hospital at 8th December. Again for fever, i came to casualty at 2.30 am on 14th December. The duty nurse talked to the doctor and gave me two antibiotics (magnex 40, amikacin)and a paracetamol transfusion throuh cannola though cannola was not properly inserted.they finished these medicine within 20 minutes.then tell me wait outside.few minutes later i started vigorous shivering with high fever.as my attendant informed them, they told it is because of high AC.still i believe, shivering was occured due to quick medicine through cannola.again after requesting them, they allow us to be in casualty room(77).but unfortunately they gave me a chair to sit on while i am shivering vigorously and my attendant hold me on.suddenly i vomitted vigorously 3 times.every time i went out from the room and vomited into dustbin.fever, shivering, vomiting was not enough for the nurses to allow me a bed though 3 beds were empty. Then what is the pre requisite to have a bed in casualty for some time.i begged them several times that i am having pain in chest sitting in a chair.plz give me a bed.but they were si inhumane i didnt imazine.most of them were sleeping. It seemed that if they give me a bed, they have to again prepare that bed which is not proper time to do that.then they shifted me to a trolly which is near basin.still 3 beds are available.i was lying there 3 hrs having everyone comes and wash there hands and face near my head. I am a central banker of bangladesh.as i am a foreign patient and already 20 lacs rupee has been the treatment expense, i didnt expect this type of inhumane behaviour.every time they changed the medicine through cannola, blood drops.so how was the competency.i really shocked about the bed issue.i could create a scene but thinking about rest of the patients, i stopped.please give me a feedback that what measures did you take, otherwise i have to complain on upper level.
Thank you
Regards
