My Mother was diagnosed with Triple negative breast cancer in Year 2020 and we booked appointment with one of the senior doctors(Dr Jyoti Bajpayee) at TMH for consultation. After the appointment was booked, we waited for the whole day and the doctor did not even looked at us. The doctor came for 2 hrs on that day when we were waiting for her in the queue with prior appointment and left the office without seeing us. We were told to visit a junior doctor and we visited Junior doctor. After the treatment started, her health deteriorated rapidly and eventually my mother passed away in March 2022.
Issues:-
(1) Poor management - You don't get appointment easily. U have to wait for 3, 4 days after making payment online.
(2) There is no guarantee that the doctor with which u booked appointment is going to see you.
(3) Doctor does not have empathy towards the patient or the family members. Doctors don't even talk to patients properly and give emotional support to some patient who is in last stage. They don't care about the patient ad patient and family members are just numbers. TMH is known for 50 years of treating cancer with so much research as they claim but doctor's working there either don't have experience or are not confident enough in treating patients.
(4) Poor communication between departments(billing, appointment etc). One has to run across the whole yard to get things done and will take days.
Never go to TMH. It's a waste of time and money. They should realize that life is so precious and so is time and money for the people who don't have. Was this information helpful? |
