I had purchased a Toshiba 55 inch ultra 4K online from Amazon in may’23The model number for said TV is 55C350LP.
The above television started showing a black spot on the left side of screen around 21st-22nd Oct’23.
This got heated up and the screen started showing lines.
When I touched the black spot the screen was so brittle due to heat that cracks started appearing .
I got the call registered at Toshiba call Center and technician visited us, examined the issue and confirmed that it’s a screen burning issue. The TV was even taken to his service center to revalidate and he confirmed his report of burins issue .
However to my utter surprise and shock, when I am contacting the technician and call Center, I was told my call has been closed by Toshiba company as a damage case…….this is 4th the complaint has been cancelled .
This is not at all acceptable to me because had there been a damage there would have been some physical mark or impression, Moreover a wrong reason is being given when the authorised technician has thoroughly examined and confirmed the case as burn issue for overheating .
Toshiba / Hisense are fooling consumers and covering up for their quality
