Uniconnect sim cards are really a trash and utterly useless. I was using a uniconnect sim card for UK and my experience says never to recommend its services to anyone even to their company employees. It not only sucks on the network coverage bit, but also recharging the number is slower than a snail. Using their sim is a waste of time, effort and money...
I had taken a Uniconnect sim card for UK about 2 months back, thinking i will be able to use it since its valid for 9 months. Damn Uniconnect sim and the information that it provides to its customers. I was in UK again after 2 months and after a few hours my phone flashed registration failed on my so called sim card. I contacted the customer guys and they gave me some weird logic of recharging my sim card every month to keep this sim active....
You are definitely better off withut using a uniconnect sim card than actually using one. Because that sim card just doesn’t work at all.. I had bought their sim card to use in Bangkok and it didn’t work anywhere. No calls, no data nothing. I could only b connected through wifi else I was disconnecyed with this pathetic pre paid sim card....
I had heard about uniconnect sim cards so this time when I was going to dubai I thught why not get this sim card, atleast my phone issues will be taken care of. I was wrong, like big time.. worst prepaid or tariff options. I would say they are not at all cheap, infact really expensive. I landed up recharging my phone thrice and almost spent like 10, 000/- within 5 days which by any means is not cheap. I was charged for random messages and...
I had bought a uniconnect sim card to be in touch with my mother once I got to London. Overall really bad experience. I had asked for a micro sim card, I got a nano sim. So I had to wait until I got the micro sim which I got a few hours before flying out. That sim card looked almost dead to me. It was that bad in condition. the network was really bad on that number. Mostly my calls would just drop. It was really frustrating to use that sim...
Uniconnect is the most horrible pre paid international sim card --- i wanted a pre paid sim card so I bought a uniconnect sim to use in Thailand. So basically my idea was to carry a sim card so that my parents could call me anytime they wanted so uniconnect sims made more sense. Once I started using them I realised that there services was really bad. Money from my prpepaid number would just get debited after sometime of receiveing a call...
Its best to look out for other options in the market than even think o[censored]sing a uniconnect sim card—I did this blunder of deciding to go ahead with a uniconnect sim card for dubai while I could have chosen better options in the market. Their prepaid service is very poor. Recharging that number was a painful task and for most of the calls I was experiencing regular call drops. Its an absolutely disastrous service provider by all means....
Uniconnect’s claim of being really good with their connections is nthing but a lie… network will only be good if their international sims would atleast start working. I had a terrible time because of this. My sim card didn’t get activated for almost 3 days. I was constantly calling their support team on their toll free number and there was no help given by them. Everytime they would just give me a new time and date for sim activation....
Uniconnect Sims are the most unreliable ones that I have come across so far. Poor performance. They don’t even have a local dedicated sims for Singapore. I got a T_mobil sim to use in Singapore which was so weird. Most of the times there were no signals on the phone. Bad choice for any traveler....
Poor services will be a good remark --- Uniconnect has really got very bad network and customer services in London. There is no way that they are cheap and affordable as what they claim to be. The only good thing about them is that it’s a pre paid card, something that you can easily get rid of if it doesn’t work well. I had a frustrating time using a uniconnect sim in London so much so that I stopped using it completely. They were not...
I wanted a uniconnect sim card for Singapore and when I called their call centre, Anita quoted a completely different price. And when I told her that on the website its rs 800 and what she was Rs1500/- she said that instead of asking questions here, I should simply book my sim online and save us all the time. Well I just wanted information and after this encounter I am sure I don’t want to use their services at all....
The most unreliable services are offered by Uniconnect Sim cards. Worst experience o[censored]sing their pre paid sim card in Thailand. Poor network and really bad data speed. It would have been better not to use them at all than actually waste whatever money that I wasted....
Frustrating services from Uniconnect Sim cards --- I had bought a uniconnect sim card for Singapore. And I think it was a big mistake. The more I used their services, the more frustrating it got for me. Connecting calls was a headache, be it local or international. But these ppl didn’t even take a minute to deduct money from the account, whether the call was connected or not. I did land up calling their custaomer care asking for a detail...
I bought a Uniconnect sim card from Delhi airport and I was told that by the time I land in Dubai, my sim would be activated and I will be able to make calls. Its my fourth day here, and I have already sent like 4 emails and made several calls on ur customer support, but the activation is still not done. And m coming back to India tomorrow.. So basically your claims of being undisputed services is all !! Pathetic is the word for you, honestly....
Recently used an international sim from Uniconnect and it was definitely not worth spending money on.. My phone never had any signals, calling back India was a problem and everytime the call dropped, i was being charged for an entire minute..something that wasnt communicated. It was a pre paid number, hence not using it wasnt painful and definitely not using or suggesting this to anyone in near future as well.....
Very rude customer staff --- I was going to buy a Uniconnect sim for Singapore and i had some questions regarding recharging and currency and you know the regular ones before you make such a purchase.. Instead of helping me with answers Rohit said that I should have done some internet browsing on what they off the and all and then ask questions if needed. That was it.. Thats when i decided i wont buy their sim card. Not only was he rude but...
Network signals suck --- I was visiting London and my friend gave me his already bought uniconnect sim card for london saying its pre paid and still functional, i'll just have to recharge it.. Super excited that my sim worries were taken care of but when i landed and changed the sim, there were minimal signals and calling was difficult. Ultimately I had to call the customer support centre for help and they said everything is fine on their...
I was using a Uniconnect sim for Australia and That turned out to be really expensive. I spent over 10k only to recharge the number. I dont know on what basis were they charging my calls because i was hardly calling.. I asked for details which they didn't share on the pretext that they dont have prepaid data. Anyways, m definitely not using such low quality services again. ...

I have had a terrible experience with Uniconnect sim cards.. I bought that sim to be able to stay connected with my family in Hyderabad while I was traveling to Dubai. Worst decision that I took. Their services are really poor and at the same tiem very expensive. It would have been better had I bought a sim from there only than going through the pain of buying one from India and then not being able to use it there. Flop idea!...
