I have been looking for an EMBA program for over 10 months both within and outside the country. I saw an ad for Upgrad abroad learning program and decided to explore it. First, I sent a request for a callback on their website for further inquiry, but the call never came. I then filled out the form again and applied for one of their programs. I received a call, after I provided my name, and location, the person transferred the call to his supervisor and I had no idea I was speaking to a different person. I do not know why my call was transferred, I am just guessing he couldn't understand my question.
A few days before I explored their website, I applied for a new job and was waiting for an offer letter, since I got the offer, I decided to drop the plan. I sent a thank you note to the supervisor for his assistance and the reason why I decided not to proceed, he replied, "I'm unable to fathom how do learners plan to move abroad overnight and then drop the plan altogether in a jiffy". There was no need for him to form an opinion about me and my decision whatsoever, he does not know me! Anyway, I wish the company the best, but they should really upskill their employees on how to handle a potential client. No more UPGRAD for me. Was this information helpful? |
