I got a call on 14 July 2022 about a job as Data Scientist that I had applied for on Hirect. They took three rounds, first hr, second technical test, and third, a call with a superior. They asked me to do a tableau desktop certification upon completion of which they will give me a job. They even sent me a confirmation letter. They sent me the course link. They asked to complete the whole process of payment in a single day. After which I paid almost 18k for the course and then took classes and completed the course and got the certificate. After that, I sent the certificate, and when I called the next day the hr going by the name tanishka kapoor said that she would look at the certificate and call me back. After that, she stopped responding to my calls and emails. I came to know about this fraud after I suspected something is wrong and googled the name and found the consumer complaints about the same fraud. Everything was so detailed and proper that I could not even suspect anything was wrong. Was this information helpful? |
