Vijay Sales — Not honouring extended warranty provided

I had purchased Videocon 55 LED from Vijay sales of rose Pimpri Store in Oct'2016 with an ongoing offer of 5 years warranty. The screen is having issues for months now with black patches coming on it. I have been calling on and off Vijay sales in Pimpri and Mumbai (since I relocated to Mumbai a couple of years back). When I call Pimpri branch, they say you have to call Mumbai and they cant help. When I call Mumbai, they say that I have to call Pimpri. On calling again at Mumbai centre, I was told to call Videocon service centre directly as Vijay sales wont be able to help since I purchased from Pimpri and need service in Mumbai. What is the use of buying from Vijay sales if they cant provide service in another city? Had raised same issue on email which they responded with giving special offer on purchase of new tv. Seriously?? They have stopped responding to email now and my product will soon be out of warranty.
