I have bought the Whirlpool refrigerator in the Month of Auguest 2014 from one of the Vivek's Store near Kundanahalli, Bangalore. Couple of days back, the compressor is gone and refrigerator is not working any more. Upon checking with Whirlpool Service team, they kept on asking for the bill for warrenty claim. As i lost the bill, i tried reaching the Vivek's showroom. But found-out that, they are not operational any more.
The service engineer dined helping me on this and said, warrenty can be claimed only with Bill copy. I even tried telling that, the showroom is no longer functional, i am not able to provide the Bill copy. He then asked me to make the full payment for the compressor as well, which is still under warrenty.
I even shared the Serial Number and Model Number of the refrigerator, to which he denied checking or helping.
