I paid rs.300/- as opening charges to zerodha account on march 22nd. But due to kyc issues, i was unable to complete account opening.
Spoke to customer care (Executive - sowmya) multiple times and considering current situation with covid-19, they are unable to help completing formalities. Since opening account is not a possibility now, i asked to refund my money and she agreed to it at least twice over call. On the last call, she asked to raise a ticket asking for refund and it will be done in 7 days. But after raising ticket, same executive responded saying money cannot be refunded. Tried calling again and no one responds. No response on emails as well other than standard template response.
How is zerodha authorized to charge opening charges without opening the account? I need my refund and this fraud to be addressed.
