On April 15th, I placed an order for a printer on Flipkart with an expected delivery window of April 21st to 25th. Despite the product arriving at my location before the 21st, I repeatedly received notifications throughout the delivery window indicating that the item would be delivered, only to be disappointed at the end of each day when it wasn't.
Finally, on April 25th, I received a call from the courier informing me that they couldn't deliver the printer to my home and that I needed to collect it from their office. This was unacceptable to me, as I specifically chose the home delivery option when placing my order. If I wanted to collect it myself, I would have purchased it directly from a store instead of online.
Despite contacting Flipkart multiple times, they were unable to provide a satisfactory solution. They informed me that their delivery partner claimed my location had narrow roads, preventing them from delivering the product. However, this excuse is unfounded, as parcels from various courier services, including Ekart logistics, are regularly delivered to my doorstep without any issues.
I find it completely unacceptable that Flipkart and their delivery partner are resorting to false excuses to avoid fulfilling their responsibility. If they were aware that they couldn't deliver the product to my location, they shouldn't have accepted the order in the first place.
Furthermore, the excuse given by the delivery agent, stating that the product is too large to deliver, is absurd. I expect my product to be delivered to my doorstep as promised.
I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter promptly and ensuring that my printer is delivered to my home as originally agreed upon.
