Faulty SIM

I have taken a new airtel prepaid connection on the 14 of February, 2009 and submitted my driving license as ID proof and electricity bill as residence proof. I have purchased it from a stationary shop with proper sealing of the docket during purchase. Right from the time of purchase, i have had issue regarding the network registration of the SIM. It wouldn't allow me to make or receive calls to any number. Not even to Airtel customer...

SEVERE GRIEVANCE : MENTAL TORTURE

Unlimited plans become limited without prior information

AIRTEL HAS SUDDENLY CHANGED ITS UNLIMITED PLAN
They have reduced the speed as soon as some GB of download has been done by the user. But they still chatge for unlimited plan. it is not fair. Please give me the address of the consumer court in coimbatore where i can make them refund excess charges paid by me.

lapu service is barred from company

We are having a Airtel Lapu sim with Mobile No. +[protected].The Same was barred without any Prior Information.
The Connection Barred was issued to me for Business Purpose (ie Recharging the Prepaid Connections of te Customers).
The Lapu Sim was having a balance of Rs. 3700/-(Approx)
Inspite of various complaints to the Senior official at Local Office, No Action yet Taken from last 45 Days....

Credit the amount of Rs 75

This is inform u that I made a cash payment as on 24.01.09 of Rs.1000/- against your bill no.0000000 dated.000 against Airtel Mobile No.[protected] and the due date of the bill was 24.01.09 in favour of KRISHNA CELL LINK.The receipt No was 8964.But KRISHNA CELL LINK wrongly credited this amount against Airtel Mobile No-[protected].For this reson said amount debited my Account.

Unreasonable Disconnection of service

My Name is Suresh Sathy.I bought the digital Tv service from an electonics store in Mumbai on 16th December 2008 and they told us to pay 3500.00 including 6 months subscription. They further told not to open the pack and that support staff will come home and get them installed and started.All went ok for 10-15 days.

On 16th January midnight (12am) service got disconnected and after so much calling in toll free no. it was restored...

Online bill payment and customer service sucks !!!

Airtel online bill payment as well as customer service sucks big time...
I had paid my postpaid bill online thru credit card. I did not print/save my transaction ID.
My credit card statement reflects the bill payment. Also, I get a email from my credit card bank confirming the transaction.
After few days I start getting msgs from airtel saying my bill is overdue... blah blah blah...
I speak to customer care......

Inaction for request for disconnection

Sir, I was using airtel mobile No.[protected] for the last more than 2 years. As I did not want the number any longer I was not using it from the middle of 2008.

As I was paying monthly charges without using the number, I decided to get the number disconnected. Accordingly I visited Airtel (M-5 Connaught Place Office) on 31.10.2008 with a letter for disconnection of the number. The officer there did not accept my letter but...

without prior notice,cancelled std pack and wrong information regarding tariff

i took airtel postpaid-corporate sim.
my billing period is from 20th -19th of next month..
i activated sms booster pack and std booster pack.
i requested them(airtel customet care) to change my bill plan, without deactivating my booster packs.
they too did so.
but without prior notice to me, they deactivated my sts booster pack.
