I am facing the same issue. How can they run a company without a proactive and trustworthy customer support ecosystem ? They over-commit and run behind your back for a new connection and once they are through with your payment, they never show back. Extremely frustrating and annoying. I don't foresee them to continue on a longer term without proper support infrastructure.

This is Nandkishor Danej my airtel custmer id-[protected].I have purchased Airtel DTH in March 2011 last week.But after 2 months contineously it shows the error code B001 for that I called to custmer care center but they didn't give me any responce.Then we Recharged with the amount Rs.350/- on 24/05/2011 but still we got same problem then I called to Sachin ([protected]) he gave me number of Airtel Center in Mumbai Ph. No. is[protected] when I called on this number then he gave me another number of Rahul([protected]) then I contineously call him for this problem but everytime he told me I forward your complaint but still I didnt got any responce then he gave another Number after 2 week he gave me number of Gladwin([protected]). And when I called to Gladwin he gave another number of Bhushan ([protected] Ulhasnagar) but when I called to Bhushan he told me that he will sent engineer immediately but the no one come then one day after again I called to Bhushan but he didnt response me. I am waiting for a quick response on this number [protected] or [protected] or on my [protected]@yahoo.com.

i am a subscriber of airtel digital tv from some 7-8 months,after a storm dish of DTH misplaced from its original position because of that 'no signal' is coming and error code B001 is showing .
that is my problem. but main thing is that i have been complaining this issue from about one month and all they say is "Engineers will reach at your home tomorrow 3 pm and repair it"!!
i am veery disappointed from this response i cant watch tv and my money of recharge is geting over
Now i am gonna take help of court we are preparing to send notice to consumar forum for fooling people on name of customer care . if you are unable to send anybody between 10-11 june it would be not good for you people i will change my DTH too!!!
