It was a bitter experience to visit one of the Domino's Store at Sadar Bazar, Agra, Utttar Pradesh on 26th August 2012. Me along with my two peers were asked to evacuate the store by one of their staff/waitress just because we occupied one of their valuable tables for 15 minutes after consuming our order. The saddest part is there were many tables lying empty at that point of time. This ruthless behavior of the staff made us feel humiliated and embarrassed and we immediately left the store deciding that it was the last visit to any Domino's store.
I somehow felt that the Domino's staff like to see their TABLES LYING EMPTY rather than focusing on providing quality service. As a mid level manager into a food company I feel a customer does not visit any Restaurant/Pizza store with his friends or family just to grab the food but to spend some good quality time. And this is no way to treat your customers by asking them to evacuate the store while the store is lying empty!!!
Hence, as a valuable customer I would appeal to train your staffs properly before appointing them or teach them some basic etiquette at least so that the customer does not have to go through these harassing situations more often. Dear Domino's, to bring in your knowledge, there are other stores in town as well who serve Pizza but a Pizza served with a smile is most preferred!
I felt that service is not what is emphasized at the organization and customers are treated just as a mere media to make money. I sincerely suggest to improve on this ground before the company loses bunch of it's valuable customers and degrades it's Brand Value! Was this information helpful? |
