hai ...i entered for sweepstakes 21jan 2010...but i didn't get any information yet...kindly provide me the list of draws...of winners
Yes,
readers digest, india is most cheating company with sister concerns like Living media international, India today magazines, they keep sending you letters like if you purchase our products, you have priority processing, means getting lottery is 100 cent more, but my some friends taking part in sweepstakes last 3 years, never got a songle penny, lottery from management, but recd. coloerful letters asking to buy more products, even they say you are entered in final selection of final draw, again after few days, friends receive, you must send reply to post bag no. given in a 7 days, or your cance to win gets vanished, so my friends' advice never buy any product fro readers digest, or any sister company and waste your time and money seeing colorful letters.
We dont understand why government take any actions on these cheaters companies, because my inside friends tell that they give manipulate and give lottery to inside management man, to fool public in large, anybody, police listening?

I fully agree with all the other complaints RD sweepstake is complete fraud through and through. The way they make you believe that you are a previeleged one and the car of your choise is going to arrive the next day.
I have been trying this fraudulent thing for the past many years to no avail.I am 80 years now and dont have many years to go on trying.I wish I had saved all that money I spent on books and postage instead of trying to reach for something which is seems false.

Would like to receive the 3 free gifts that are waiting for me!
The draw result was already out and yet on 5 February 2010, RD sent me promotional books and sweepstake certificate to be returned within 14 days to enjoy 5 times more for the sweepstakes' draw.
More shocking is that there was an enclosed printed letter saying that I am the perfect customer and I have a vey good chance to win. If the draw was already held in January 2010 for year 2009, how could I be called "Lucky"?
When I checked the photocopy of the documents that I received previously from RD, I was shell-shocked to know that the draw date mentioned was JAN-2011. Because, prior to Nov-2009, all the documents carried Jan-2010 as the draw date. As far as this cheating people from RD is concerned, there is no closure for any draw. Bcoz, if the closure of draw for any particular year is informed, then people would not like to get cheated by them. When I called them up, I was told that out of 2000 'LUCKY' winners, my name was not on the list. Even worse, one of the earliest documents stated that I was absolutely eligible to get 'PEGASUS PRIZES', at least. Now, I won't receive that one too. More shame, I don't receive RD Magazine regularly. In fact, some five months back I received the last copy.

This is clearly an example of how a very popular brand name can be used for enticing and cheating the people. First up, what is the guarantee that the draw is held ? When you entice the people through unethical means and make them fool by spending all their hard-earned money and spend their fabulos time towards such non-sense things, you clear expose yourselves that you are a cheaty. When I don't receive any prize for 2009, why you, time and again, call me 'LUCKY', even in the documents I received today (6-FEB-2010) ? This is another example of ditching the innocent people. In this particular document, there is one statement that if I buy the 'offers', then I'd be eligible for 1.1 crore Sweepstakes. If you look at the 'How The Rader's Digest 1.1 Crore Rupees SweepStakes Works' on the back any letter from them, there is is mentioned 'No purchase is necessary to enter'. What a shameless sharp contradiction ?

Readers Digest is unethical by fooling innocent people just to get sales of their products. I'm wondering how they are able to condut such a high-profile fraud biz on a globally reputed brand name. Have they ever been dragged to court for such manipulative and unethical business ? If not, why shouldn't ?
I have not received my copy of Readers Digest for the month of December 2009. Would you be good enough to send me one.
Also the results of 2009 sweep stakes are not available on the net for which I have filled up large amounts of complicated forms with stickers of all sorts. Can this process of sweepstakes not be simplified and prevent the waste of such huge amount of paper?
