On 20th aug, 17; i ordered from pizza hut through zomato at 12.30pm. Order was confirmed by pizza hut and it was notified that it will take half hour for the delivery.
However, the order didn't come till 1.30 and i contacted zomato support. Within 15 mins they said that the order was delivered. I insisted that it wasn't the case. I called the restaurant and got confirmation that my order has been cancelled which was neither updated in zomato nor was it informed to me via call or message.
Zomato customer care told that they are trying to contact the restaurant but all efforts are in vain. However after one hour and 45 mins, they said they could get hold of the restaurant and they will call me. I got the call but it seems they were contacting some other restaurant. I told the same thing to zomato and asked them to contact the right restaurant. But still they insisted that my delivery is complete. After calling the restaurant to and fro, finally my order was cancelled. I am still awaiting the refund though.
I am swearing to never order from zomato. It's a headache. The service is poor and ridiculously slow. Was this information helpful? |
