[Resolved]  Ajitha Gas Agency — Inordinate delay in supplying LPG

I have been the customer of LPG @ M/S Ajitha Gas Agencies, Villivakkam.
My Customer No. is 18406. Whenever I make booking, they never supply the gas with in 12 to 15 days from the date of booking. More over they wont'book the gas before the completion of 21 days from the date of supply. Recently I went through an article from your company that there is no need to wait to book the gas supply till the compeltion of 21 days from the date of supply and no acute demand also. Whereas the above said agency always telling the same story.
Especially this time I booked the gas on 03.12.2010. They told that the gas would be coming only after 20 days. In total, the gas supply will be given to me only after (21+20=41 days). when I apprised the condition of M/S IOC that 21 days has been ruled out, they simply said that I can book the gas on the next day of receipt, but registration will be made only after the completion of 21 days. I really do not know what is going on in between you and the gas agency? and I would like to know who is exploiting the public whether your company or gas agencies? I want the reply immediately so as to take further course of action in this regard.

Ajitha gas agency. Villivakkam. — DELAY IN GAS CYLINDER SUPPLY

Sir, My consumer number is 8989. I booked for cylinder on 24/02/10.still i have not got the cylinder(18days).I contact the agency, there is no proper response. This is not the first time,it is frequently happening. kindly take action and see that i am getting cylinder immedietly. . Thankyou, yours truely, L.ARUL,56/2, East colony, I.C.F. CHENNAI-38.

I totally agree with you, First their phone numbers are not reachable most of the time, Having 5 numbers (3 landline and 2 mobile numbers), most of the time only 1 landline works and both the mobile numbers are switched off or they simply keep ringing. It takes an hour or two to reach the numbers upon continously dialling the number hoping it connects and you can give your request. On top of this, the callous attitude of the staff who shout back at you when asked why the phone numbers are not reachable.

Today (12-Dec-2011), after praying hard, I managed to get through to a lady, when I asked her as to why most of the phone numbers are not reachable, she simply ignored my statement and went on monotonously asking for my consumer number and giving me the date when the cylinder will be delivered. When I insisted on a reason for not picking up the calls, she shouted back saying there are many customers calling, so you have to wait. When I asked her not to shout, and told her that I will complain to the IOC for this attitude of the agency, she said do whatever you want.

I agree they are stressed, but more people can be deployed to handle the calls given the festival season coming in. Anyway this is highly deplorable on part of the agency to provide such replies to customers. If any of you have similar experiences, please post it here. At least we hope that one of the IOC/Indane officials see this.
Worst Service that can be provided by anyone in the world. I am their customer for past 13 years and almost for past 2 years they are worse. The ladies who sit in the front office i am not sure who employed them. They just talk talk and nothing else and never ever has their phone been available. its either not working or busy.

They have not respect for people who come over there. NO respect for age or what so ever. I have seen even pregnant ladies been yelled at and that too those girls are not more than 20 - 22 years old and they don't realize that its from our money that they are being paid.

Their owner doesn't seem to care. it took 50 days for one cylinder to be delivered. I have to thank them though because of them not working, We started using other method of cooking and now consume less of gas. Indane should employ more people like them so that one day every one will stop using Gas and move to other methods
This agency is not fit to satisfy customer's needs.
Delivery of cylinders is a major problem. Cylinders booked reach us after a month.

Supplier Mr.JOHN (one who deliver cylinders to home) i suppose he is CORRUPT, MISBEHAVING, SUPPLIES DEFECTIVE CYLINDERS... Refuses to check the cylinders...
Service is really annoying...

We all have to PITY OURSELVES for having taken a gas connection from this OUTRAGEOUS - AJITHA GAS AGENCY - and my plight is also the3 same and its not a surprise that when i tried to google search for complaints about thisAJITHA GAS AGENCY it has been pouring with consumer complaints. Dunno why the HELL do these people sit there n get on our nerves... and the day for a solution in the form of cancellation of dealership is not far away. So lets HOPE FOR THE WORST much more in future.

Ajitha Gas Agency — Very very poor service

My usage is less and me not booking gas, I was told that my account is blocked
when checked how to proceed further, Ajitha Gas agency Villivakkam, Chennai, people are banging the phone down.
Called another number([protected]), that man was very rude and very harsh.
