Reliance General Insurance — GRO- PRATIK PRASUN and Grievance Cell not attending the complaint

This is in reference to the resolution given by Mr Vikash on the complaint no[protected] for policy no.[protected]
A mail was put to the company on 27th July 2023 that the new reports will be shared with them but after they have given a confirmation on the waiting period of the PED. The company has still not reverted to that. The clarification on the waiting period was first raised to Anil Chandani on 11th July over WhatsApp chat to which he said that the same will be taken up by the team but no clarification has been received.

The company is again dragging the case till its next renewal so that they don't have to compromise on the waiting period. The company has no reasons to apply the waiting period on the policy has they have already passed all the claims that rose out of the PED. Anil Chandani had too tried this trick with as he had asked the Insureds family to default on the premium payment on the day of renewal and had asked that the insured should make the payment in the grace period so that he can talk to the underwriter for the new quotation which was include the PED too. it been 4-5 months since the renewal the company and its GRO and Anil Chandani are still not able to resolve the case. Also the company has been re-iterating this again and again that the insured had not disclosed the the PED in the Tele MER but if this was the case why were the claims passed or why was the tele MER recording not shared with the insured despite multiple request and how has the company cleared all the claims?

A written communication is required from the company on the waiting period of the PED (waiting period does not apply since all the claims have been passed) and accordingly the reports will be shared. As it is the reports are just required to calculate the loading charges.
