In May 2013, I booked plot no. 121 at Wave City NH 24 Ghaziabad. Due to financial issues, I applied for the cancellation of booking on 17th Oct 2013. I gave cancellation application on 14th November 2013 at the Wave Infratech’s corporate office in Noida and also submitted all the original documents including the original allotment letter to one of their employees Sachin Bhargav on his request. I do have the copy of receiving with signatures and company stamp. I was given verbal assurance that the amount of Rs. 8, 05, 820 will be refunded to me within 15 days. I am highly disappointed and frustrated due to lack of transparency of the current status of my application and delay in making the refund as per the commitment. In the first of Feb 2014, I again met Nittin, Sachin, and Sachin’s line manager at their corporate office because I was not receiving clear updates whenever I made telephonic calls in this regard at their corporate office. The Wave Infratech personnel promised that the above amount will be refunded to me within 15 days. However, I have neither heard any update from their personnel nor received the refund. Moreover, I kept receiving demand notices, which caused a lot of mental harassment to me and my family. After more than 4 months of submitting cancellation request, I still do not have any update on the status of my application. This delay has also incurred me several monitory loses due to interest lost on this amount since the day I gave cancellation request. On 3rd March 2014, I again sent Wave Infratech an e-mail reminder to their Senior GM – Maneesh Gaur, followed by a printed letter via the registered post and asked them to do the needful and do the necessary communication by 7th March 2014. However, there is no action or communication despite of a million follow ups (verbal, in-person, written) till now. This makes me conclude that Wave Infratech has no plans to refund the booking amount and has cheated on me. Kindly advise. Was this information helpful? |
