COMMUNICATION IS ESSENCE OF LIFE It is my misfortune that i requested for IR facility for my trip to Dubai for 4 days. I was told that Airtel will charge Rs.599 and Rs.149 for the facility and anticipating a good service i agreed .. You will be surprised to note that the telephone never worked as desired and neither calls could be received nor could be made during my trip. I came back and complained to your offices in Trichy. When i started making inquiries i found that the basic Rs.149 plan was not activated at all because of which the IR facility was denied to me.The non availability of I R facility at Dubai in front of my relatives and friends caused untold misery and embarrassment. Further i received another major shock when i saw the bill where in Rs.599 is charged for not providing the IR facility. I became restless and dejected seeing the actions of Airtel staff from December 29th midnight .Today morning i contacted your so called Gold care and the Customer relation staff after a long argument agreed that he will make a note in the CRM canccelling the amount of Rs. 599 on the basis that it is a mistake by the staff. Today evening I visited your office at Cantt. and paid Rs.1100 out of Rs. 1699 billed to be reasonable on my side. Frankly speaking I had contacted the local consumer cell chief who is well known to me and he told not to pay Rs.599 since the IR facility could not be provided to me during my trip to Dubai due to reasons unknown to me. All the actions by Airtel on account of I R are available as records and that would enable to seek a legal course also. I very sincerely trust that you will be able realise the mental agony suffered by me and looking forward to your instructions to send me a corrected bill reducing the excess billed amount of Rs.599 with in a day or two. Seeing the quality of service I am also in the process of withdrawing from Airtel all my 3 telephones and the 4G wi-fi facility.When i narrated my experience to my senior friends in BHEL, Trichy they were really stunned and upset.I expect a much better treatment to senior people like us. All such incidents may be widely communicated in order that Airtel's image is not diminishing. In todays competitive market company can survive only on the basis of Customer satisfaction.
