I have just started living in a Leave and Licence premises in Andheri West for the past one month. When I found the Electricity Bill inserted in the door, I paid it. But I was not supposed to pay it, the landlord was supposed to pay it and I was supposed to give her cash in her hand. I had not read the lease agreement carefully to know this. The landlord refuses to count this as credit to my name as she has an automatic bill payment system through her own bank and does not want to stop or defer it for a couple of months. She asked me to seek a refund of my monies through Adani directly. The bill was for Rs 2030 but Rs 2010 if paid early.
Moreover, being new to such payments systems when I did not get confirmation of my payment through my Kotak bank account over the internet quickly enough, I pressed the button again and ended up paying the sum of Rs2010 twice:
First payment on 23rd October at 12:53pm and then again
Second payment on 23rd October 12:57pm.
Please could you refund me my monies into the Kotak account from which it was paid.
