From the past 1 one year i have been living in hostels around the addagutta society kukatpally hyderabad, hoping to get a value proposition for my money, as i have to go to my college, but in past one year i have only been disappointed by the way hostels operate here.
The hostels managements here take way too much money for a little service that they provide, if thats not enough then imagine 5 full grown men living in a room space of not more than 12 by 12 ft. Thats not even the size of my bathroom in my house.
I can't think of going to any other hostel anywhere after my experience here in hyderabad.
The explanation for such high pricing and inhuman treatment to the people is that food prices are rising in the market.
Imagine a hostel stuffing 4 to5 people in every room in total of 42 room, at an average of ₹5000 a person and the only excuse is that food prices are rising, you can calculate the profits they are making by such an inhuman treatment, above this people on the 5 floor of these establishment have to suffer the pain of climbing the stairs even as the lifts are available as the figure that they might have to pay extra for the lifts.
Above all this they need to increase the hostel fees every 6-8 months.
I don't know how anyone could survive this, hence i plead if any substantial difference if anything on this forum could make kindly help the students across the these areas and others facing the same sort of problems.
Thanking you
Yours sincerely
