I had booked air ticket through easemytrip for kolkata-jaipur sector for travel on 22nd may 2018 (Booking id emt[protected] and airlines pnr zi544f. When i reported to the airport i was told that above flight has been cancelled since 3/4 months. But it is regretted that neither the air asia sent me any mail or sms nor i received any intimation of cancellation from easemytrip though my mobile and email id was registered. Easemytrip later confirmed that they had no information about the flight cancellation. The most dubious role has been played by air asia. Its nodal officer informed me in email after i complained that they tried to contact me over phone but was found not reachable. The air asia is telling that they also sent email. When i asked for a copy of the email, air asia abruptly closed the case. Surprisingly i also did not get my refund. Since i had no other option, i had to book on spot for india flight to jaipur the same day at a fare of rs.9506/-. This is very irresponsible act both on the part of air asia leading to financial loss and mental stress. Regarding the refund, till date air asia has not intimated anything. At kolkata airport, the official of air asia noted down the pnr and told me that the refund would be processed. Later the nodal officer said that i had to claim for refund. This is an indication that the air asia did not intimate about cancellation because in the past whenever airline cancelled flight of their own, full refund was made by the airline without going through the process of refund through booking agent. My daughter had booking id emt[protected]Pnr: oq9dpk) for kolkata jaipur for i5588 for travel on 8th may 2018. Full refund was made by air asia without going via booking agent after it was cancelled by you. Now air aisa is adopting a different stand to hide the lapse on their part.
