Hi,
This is regarding overcharging on mrp of mineral water.
I was charged 33 rupees for a 1l of kinley water bottle, at airport city hotel kolkata.
I paid a total of 80 rupees for two water bottles including vat, service tax, swach bharat and krishi kalyan taxes. Despite my telling to the hotel staff repeatedly about the new rule of government, they kept insisting me to pay and misbehaved saying it is a hotel and they have different rates and taxes. When i told them i will complain they said casually, please do it. Such attitude of hotels is completely nonsensical as they are defying government rules and cheating customers openly.
Kindly take an immediate and strict action to stop such unethical things happening in our country.
