Dear Sir, With regards to experience incident of illigal parking fee collection at Dibrugarh Airport today.I entered dibrugarh airport for a pickup and returned to parking gate within 5 minutes.However, at the gate parking collecting agents has asked for parking fee of 20 Rs. without any receipt. Since returned time is within 5 minutes I have asked for no parking charges.However I was abused and man handled by ticket collecting agent and had to give him 20Rs without any receipt.This syndicate has been happening for long time to each and every people entering Dibrugarh Airport.Request you to please check this illigal syndicate of taking parking charges for pick up and drop within time period. I have all the video evidence how I was man handled at dibrugarh airport on 22nd august around 12.10pm-12.30 pm.Request you to check cctv footage in exit gate and stop this illigal syndicate. Submitter: "I have all the video evidence how I was man handled at dibrugarh airport"
Answer: the duty of the AIRPORTS AUTHORITY OF INDIA is to provide rules:
for parking of of aircraft or for any other service or facility offered in connection with aircraft operations at any airport, heliport or airstrip,
prohibiting the parking or waiting of any vehicle of carriage within the airport or civil enclave except at places specified by the Authority.
There is no video attached which discloses such rules along with the signature of the chair of AIRPORTS AUTHORITY OF INDIA.
The submitter can address his complaint to the Government of Maharashtra or to the local police office for the violation of the public order by officers of the police or of the state, if such incident had taken place at the territory of at Dibrugarh airport, Assam.
