I had booked a flight ticket from Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam with flight time scheduled for 5:50 a.m. I arrived at the check-in counter at 5:15 a.m., intending to board the flight. However, I was informed by the concerned employee that I was late by 2 minutes and, as a result, boarding had been closed. Despite explaining that I needed to travel urgently due to a family emergency (my grandfather's passing), I was not allowed to board the flight.
As a result, I was forced to book another ticket for a later flight at 10:55 p.m., which incurred an additional cost of Rs. 5000. Unfortunately, this flight was delayed by 20 minutes. It strikes me as unfair that while passengers are held strictly to boarding times, the airline is not held accountable for its own delays.
Given the circumstances and the financial burden caused by these events, I kindly request a refund of the additional expenses incurred due to the missed flight and subsequent delay. I believe it is only fair that I am compensated for the inconvenience and financial loss experienced. Was this information helpful? |
