Al-Azila, formerly known as GreenPenn Outsourcing Business Advisory based in Pune is a total scam. We had bought 3 projects from them throughout September, 2021 to December, 2021 - a UK Chat Process, NETFLIX Customer Service and LINKEDIN Martech Process. Funny thing is NETFLIX does not outsource any of their services which we came to know later. We started with the UK Chat Process in September and in the beginning, it looked like all the information regarding the job description was clear. Hence, we proceeded with the hiring process. In the name of assessment, they started rejecting candidates for weeks until their CFO, MANESH PILLAI asked us to pay a few more lakhs to qualify candidates. Each assessment took a whole week as they had written assessment, online chat, etc. that would again take 2-3 days for the results. So we had to pay candidates to per day as we were keeping them uncertain about their job for a week. Since we had invested a lot of time, energy and money on hiring, cab, and food for the candidates besides the daily payment and we were also fed up of the hiring and rejection cycle, we agreed to pay them the said amount. Then the training started. The most unprofessional training I have ever come across on earth! The first day was a duration of between 20-30 minutes, afterwards, some days it was 1 hour, another day it was 2 hours, some day 3 hours. It seemed like they literally edited information taken from Wikipedia about general information of the UK and Customer Service. In the contract, it was stated that the training was to be paid per agent per day and that it was to be a two-week-long training. However, when the training started, we were informed that the training was divided into two modules, each module would be of one week. Then they also changed the statement of the contract and told us that the first week/module would NOT BE PAID. At the end of the first module, they came up with yet another new information that there would be an assessment (again) to advance to the second module. They rejected majority of the candidates again and told us to start the hiring process again. We were back to square one. The same hiring and rejection cycle. Unfortunately, in between, we had also paid for the two other projects and had started hiring for those too. Then we started noticing differences on the details of the job profiles and projects every time there was an assessment due to the rejections. Eventually, in December, we decided to investigate deeper and found that GreenPenn has been scamming small centres for years and been changing its name every few years whenever there were too many negative reviews and complaints against the latest name. We decided to cancel the contracts and claim refund in January, 2022. No response was received for a month despite multiple follow-ups until we warned them that we would be taking the matter on social media platforms. That is when their CEO, Neeraj Goel, responded lightly threatening us of Defamation cases (plural) if we post anything negative about their company on social media. But since we had all the proof and the ability to take it legally, we did not pay any heed to his little warning. So he started responding to our e-mails. But he has been postponing the date of refund for weeks, and to our knowledge this is something they do to everyone they scammed - doing everything they can to avoid paying back. Now if they don't pay us what they owe soon, we would be suing them not only for the fraud and the applicable refund but for all the cost we had to bear on hiring, candidates, office space, etc. due to their fake projects.
