I had given the Amplifon range of hearing aids for repair to them. The company agreed on a certain amount for repairs. When the aids arrived at their branch they started asking for extra money in terms of handling charges over and above the repair fees which was agreed. When we asked them to clarify the charges which were earlier not mentioned they claimed it to be Handling charges.
Also they get the machines repaired from third party vendors/ external agencies so they warranty period which the offer is from the date when their vendor bills them and not when the customer receives the hearing aid. This is nowhere communicated to the customer. As a result the real warranty period is also not properly calculated and this causes customers to get the same machines defective before 1 year of warranty.
The customer care staff is very rude and also does not listen to customer view point.
I will highly recommend all the people to not to buy such expensive hearing aids from resellers like amplifon who charge high, are not at all transparent and provide pathetic service. Was this information helpful? |
