As per our conversation over the phone. I have purchased the APC inverter on[protected] after placing the request on the APC portal. APC partner Guna from Via Incorporation ([protected]) contacted me with quotes. He recommended the product mentioned in the invoice with the required(supported) batteries.
During this lockdown, my inverter stopped working. Guna(APC partner ) asked me to wait as service can be done only after lockdown, post lockdown he stopped answering my calls.
I raised a service request with you with help of APC customer service. Your technician Sunil visited my place and told me APC offered me the wrong configuration, these batteries shouldn't be installed with a given inverter(As the given batteries are 26Ah batteries where the minimum requirement is 80 Ah ). He informed me this wrong setup will void the battery warranty and Exide will reject the service request. Still, he suggested, you go ahead and raise a service request exide which eventually got rejected by Exide (please find the attached message from Exide on void warranty).
I am really feeling being cheated here. I contacted APC customer support with my grievance, they asked me to log a service request with you to check on configuration, invoice, dealer details etc. so they can take corrective measures to resolve the issue.
As requested I have attached the documents that you have requested to log a complaint with APC. I tried my best to explain the situation I am in and the information I can give. Please let me know if you need any further input from me.
I hope my request will be heard and appropriate action will be taken by APC. I am sure APC will do justice to its brand and prevent such unprofessional behavior by dealers. Was this information helpful? |
Apc is a good company but dont know why they have such distributors tarnishing their image.
