As being a regular medicine purchaser from apollo hospital (Amount around 20 k every month, i would like to register a case against apollo pharmacy ( (Branch code:) located at n. S avenue, serampore, hooghly, west bengal for supplying a long back expired medicine to a critically ill person. On 29th june, having severe pain at the waist and abdomen due to chronic calcific pancreatitis and hepatitis c, i have purchased a medicine called "acimize plus" tablet but later after taking 2 pills due get a recovering from pain, i have found that medicine delivered was expired in the month of april 2019. Knowing the fact i have become severely ill, met with a doctor, the store in charge is so much arrogant, that behaved with me a wrong attitude and left for home at 8 pm on 30/06/2019 without giving severe importance to the case. The store in charge does not know the medicine having in their locker.
As per the government of india pharmacy laws, started from 1986, i will be registering a case against apollo pharmacy in consumer. The complaint details are as follows.
1) complain against apollo pharmacy for storing the expired medicine in their stock and sell those expired medicine.
2) complain against the store in charge, mr, uttam das who is responsible for the complete issue owner.
3) if i do not get any response withing 24 hrs starting from now. I will have to register the case against the pharmacy for playing with the life of patient.
4) if it is not addressed after taking due cognizance, i will be registering a complain against apollo pharmacy for negligence with patient. Other wise you have to pay me 20 lakhs as compensation.
If you rightly understood the situation, you should call me @[protected] immediately. Because for last 40 hours i have been vomiting and having severe loose motion. I have not taken any food, only ors-l.
Now you decide what you want, fighting the case against apollo pharmacy & its store in charge of your shop situated in n. S avenue, serampore, hooghly west bengal amicable solution to stop your procedural and intentional, deliberate wrong supply of expired medicine or pay through compensation of 20 lakhs. I have talked with local police station and they are asking me to lodge the case against the concern so that police can take it forward for stopping the practice. Their supervisor is equally responsible for the instance
