Due to administrative problems in my organisation - bhabha atomic research centre, mumbai, i got my name changed from phaniraj venkataramiah to phaniraj v akshanta via bharat rajpatra, dated nov 04 to nov 10, 2017. I submitted the same to my office, uidai, voter's i. D card & ration card offices. It was accepted everywhere & my name became everywhere as phaniraj v akshanta. I had applied for updating of name on my above-mentioned pan card. It was rejected repeatedly by applypanonline services, chennai, on the ground that initials are not acceptable in self's name & father's name. I have hereby attached a snapshot of my old pan card having initials in my as well as my father's names. Their stubbornness is preventing me from opening a pension account in all public sector banks (I am going to retire on 31may 2019). Kindly peruse & do the needful in this regard.
