Kindly do not purchase any hosting with HostGator.In thinking that you shall get support like HostGator US.
Their billing team is available from 9 AM To 8 PM from Monday to Saturday. On Sunday Billing Team has weekly off.
Please note that HostGator India is managed by GlowTouch Technologies based at Bangalore.
They have very poor service and very poor customer support.
Now coming on to my part. I purhcased SSL and Dedicated IP for my Reseller Hosting on Sunday at 3.44 am thinking that i shall install the same on Sunday and make my live site working with SSL from Monday. But after i ordered the SSL and Dedicated IP amounting a total of Rs.9000/-, the dedicated ip didnt reflected in my WHM and my WHM did not have SSL Installation Facility. On calling hostgator support, they said that billing team is unavailable right now and shall not be available for next 28 hours. So u have to wait for the installation of SSL. Now as my purpose is not solved, i requested refund for the same. But hostgator is not refunding the amount stating that dedicated IP amount cannot be refunded.
Now i am struck and hence filing a complaint against HostGator.In in Consumer Forum as well as ConsumerComplaints.In Was this information helpful? |
