Sweet talkers and will take customers for a ride. Here's my experience.
=
Date car given for service: 15th feb, 2019 and received back on 17th feb, 2019 6 pm
They stole at least 4 liters worth of petrol for sure. They also stole a tool that i had on my stephney tray. They are smart. They know where to hit the customer such that it is not easy to trace.
I suspect with good reason that they also broke a rear wiper spray nozzle when inspecting why it was not working. But they tried to cover it up instead of owning up to their mistake. The part is not expensive. They should have just checked the pump first which they did only when i showed up. Then they managed to show me that the pump also isn't working. It is easy for them to have replaced the pump with a defective one before i arrived there. The pump they showed me looks as if it had been repaired before. They are quite capable of something like this since they work with cars day-in day-out. Its easy for them to open up a panel, reach into find a part, pump in this case, and replace it with an old pump or do some similar such mischief.
One also has to negotiate with them regarding labor charges. They will charge for a full item even if just a little bit of it was used e. G. Rust-o-clean or caliper grease.
Then, the car-stepney had 2 tools when i submitted the car. When i got the car back, it only had 1. 1 tool had clearly been taken.
Such is the plight of the auto service industry. One has to be vigilant otherwise one gets taken for a ride. Auto planet wheels at majiwada opposite tikuji-ni-wadi is no different.
They agreed to pay me rs. 400 as reimbursement for petrol that disappeared from my car by their own admission. However, i have been chasing them since 17th feb 2019 and today is 2nd march 2019.. I still have not received any monies. They agreed to give me the missing tool, but that too has not yet happened.
If i have made any mistake regards assessing this case, then i will gladly take back this complaint. But i write from what i have experienced.

They also printed out the letter that I have attached here. I signed this document upon their request without paying attention to the overall integrity of the letter. Later I noticed these 2 points:
a) Enough white-space gap between end of content and my signature. In this white space other sentences could be typed in.
b) More importantly, the letter is NOT dated. I also forgot to date the letter near my signature.
In my original complaint, I forgot to state that they had agreed to tune car engine as part of the service. And they did clean the spark-plugs but they also revved up the engine idle speed which is not something that I had asked them to do. As a result of this, I now notice engine vibrations on the steering handle and lower fuel mileage efficiency.
So while I am happy that they have compensated me for Petrol Pilferage after MUCH persistence, and give me the tool back, I know they could have confessed that they broke the rear window wiper spray nozzle when investigating and also not messed with engine idle revv.
Thus, I will bump up my rating from 1-star to 3-stars for now. They have agreed to fix without charge the replacement nozzle and the water pump that I have bought separately from some online vendor. If they do not, then my rating for them goes down to 2-stars.
