[Resolved]  Bajaj Allianz Agent 10007101/sumit Chandramani — Car insurance

I am compelled to lodge this complaint against one of
your agents through whom i got my car insured.Infact
i purchased one mahendra xuv 500 in jan 2013 at the time of purchase due to the loan facility provided by hdfc, it was
insured by hdfc ergo.But in jan 2014 i got it renewed through
your agent sumit chandramani/agency code 1007101 for the
year[protected].Since he was known to me i did not check the
policy .In the year 2015 as the rates quoted by this agent
was on higher side i got it renewed by tata aig and they
mentioned ncb 20 % which again i had over looked and the
policy was further renewed by icici lombard who put ncb
as 25 % and as usual i did not notice .But this year when
i wanted to renew the policy by bajaj allianz the same
agent brought to my notice that the ncb mentioned in the
icici lombard policy was wrongly mention i could not get
this year 45% for which i am entitled as i had never availed
any claim from anyinsurance company for this car.
When he pointed out this to me i called up icici lombard and they
asked for all the policies and it was noticed that this agent
of yours did not mention the ncb amount in the first renewed
policy of 2014.And when i contacted to him he gave me some
funny explanation which raised my suspicion. I therefore
would like to clarify from your company that why in this
age of total transparency, how could you ignore the ncb
amount and instead claim that the ncb is already included
in the own damage premium amount.This raises suspicion
and could amount to supression of facts and depriving your
customer the right to know the exact details and total amounts of premium.And also whether mentioning (-20%) instead of
showing the ncb amount is principly correct.
If this act of your agent is wrong and bad in law and agaist
the legal and moral ethics then he should be reprimanded and
ncb amount of that year which comes to around rs.4300. Should
be refunded to me.
I would appreciate an urgent action in this regard.
