I own a Bajaj Dominar 400, I bought it as passion and weekend rides. In the beginning it was a good experience till I ride it for 7000 then I faced an issue of SCAN communication failure for which I had to change the complete secondary meter which I did (they didn't cover it under warranty and I have to pay for it). Then after 8500 km an weird tapped sound from engine started coming out. I went to the service station and asked them to check well they do checked and found out that there is an issue with engine head block which need to be replaced as its not repairable. I found out that most owner who bought 2019 UG model faced the same issue. I asked service manager to do it on their behalf as my bike has just rode 8500km in 3 years and comes under 5 year warranty. Its been a month now still my approval is pending for that part and I am still not aware that when I will get approval about the claim, after getting approval as well it take 15-20 days for ordering and fitting that part.
Here comes the tricky part they said if I am ready to pay for it then it may cost around 8-10k and I will get it done in 2-3 days. Just because I am asking them to do it under warranty its taking weeks and still they are not kind and generous. After weeks I wrote it to bajajauto about this issue well they responded me with a reply and gave me a complaint number, for which i dont know what to do with that complaint number coz its been weeks to that as well.
Well, guys I'll say Dominar is a really good bike but trust me i dont think bajajauto is much careful about their customer service. DO THINK BEFORE BUYING BECAUSE SERVICE MAY BE THE FACTOR WHICH CAN DIFFER THE EXPERIENCE. Was this information helpful? |
