I purchased avenger 220 cruise in nov'16 from panvel. As scheduled i did my first free servicing on 03rd dec'16 at raigad bajaj, panvel. After leaving the premises i observed that the cap nut on the windshield has been replaced by ordinary. Upon calling and informing them they asked to visit the service centre which is not feasible for me as temporarily i am staying at vikhroli.in late jan'17, i visited the service centre and enquired about it and i was quite sure that it has been changed at the service centre as thieves wont replace the nuts even if they remove it. They clearly refused to accept the that it has been changed at the centre. Upon which i asked to check cctv footages of that day, but unfortunately they haven't installed any cctv in the servicing area to do such steals. I met the supervisor, he asked me to check with advisor but nothing was mentioned on the sheet while giving for servicing. Also the washing which takes place doesn't happens as i personally saw that person who is kept for washing only throws water on the bike and keeps for drying. Supervisor took my mobile number and said that he will arrange for the nut and will call back in 2-3 days. Its almost 45 days, i haven't received any call from the centre.
Yesterday i went to local garage since my bike was heating too early, upon checking he said that oil needs to be replaced. I have changed the oil at my first servicing after which my bike has ran not more than 1800 kms.
I doubt this servicing is been taken place. Bajaj gives a guarantee of 10000 kms with top-up at 5000 kms upon changing the oil on first servicing. But here the scenario is very different on running 1800 kms oil has been spoiled.
I doubt that my bike will last and give me performance if such cheap service centres are being authorised by bajaj. Was this information helpful? |
