Bangalore Water Supply & Sewerage Board [Bwssb] — Disconnection of CMC water connection

My water meter is connected to the CMC public tap on the road and I have been charged 100/- every month for this. I do not use the water from the public tap and do not need this connection. Please let me know if I can submit a request by email to the concerned authorities to disconnect this and remove the charges from my monthly water bill.
