I HAVE BEEN SENDING MAILS TO MR SUDHIR AND MR LOKESH FROM 19TH JULY 2022 REGARDING EXCESS BILLING AT MY RESIDENCE WHICH IS UNOCCUPIED FROM 24 JULY 2022 SINCE WE ARE OUT OF BANGALORE,
GIVEN BELOW ARE MY E-MAILS TO MR SUDHIR AND MR LOKESH.

I, Dr R Jayaram, of 79/B, 5th Main, HAL 2nd Stage Kodihally Bangalore 560008, wish to officially lodge a complaint of an very high water bill for June 2022.
As a matter of fact, I wish to state that my wife and I are the sole occupants of our residence.
In 22 years, I have never received a bill of this amount.
It appears that something is VERY WRONG in billing.
We have been staying in a retirement care home in Coimbatore Tamil Nadu from August 2020 to July 2021, from August 2021 to October 2021 and from November 2021 to April 2022. We are out of Bangalore FROM June 24 and will return in September 2022.
For the past 2 years, we have been receiving a monthly water bill of
Rs 100, which I have been paying.
Suddenly, for the month of May 2022, I received a bill of Rs 2760 (approximately) which I paid.
About a month ago two BWSSB officers came to our house and spoke to my wife stating that they will send us a bill for the consumption of 1 lakh 45 thousand litres of water.
My wife told them that it is impossible for us to have consumed 145, 000 in one month.
They said they do not know whether we consumed that amount but insisted on billing.
They also said that we have to change our water meter.
And that we have to pay for it.
I do not understand what is the connection between very high amount of water billing and changing the water meter.
I have not paid the latest water bill of Rs 6891 dated 7 July due by 22 July 2022.
I would request you critically examine the situation and advice me the reason for this high amount of billing especially when we are not staying in our residence.
I would request you to please let me know what I should do under the conditions before the due date of payment of the current bill.
Please note that Currently We Are NOT in Bangalore.

I wrote to you regarding EXTRAORDINARY EXCESS billing in the months of May and June on 19th July.
Today is 11th August and I have had no response from any of you.
For the month of JULY i have received a bill for Rs 4079.
THIS IS A CLEAR PROOF OF "EXCESS BILLING" SINCE FROM JUNE 24TH, 2022 I AM OUT OF BANGALORE.
SO THERE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN ANY WATER CONSUMPTION.
HOW COULD YOU BILL Rs 6891 FOR JUNE AND Rs 4079 FOR JULY WHEN WE ARE NOT LIVING IN OUR ADDRESS FOR THESE TWO MONTHS.
CLEARLY, THERE IS SOME SERIOUS ERROR IN BILLING OR METER READING.
IN PROTEST, I SHALL NOT PAY THE BILL FOR JULY UNTIL YOU HAVE PERSONALLY INVESTIGATED THE MATTER AND REPLY TO ME.
PLEASE REPLY IMMEDIATELY.
NONE OF YOUR AEE's HAS REPLIED TO YOUR MAILS.
THEY SEEM TO IGNORE YOUR MAILS AND IT SHOWS THAT THEY DO NOT CARE FOR YOUR ORDERS AND INSTRUCTIONS.
I FEEL THAT YOU HAVE TO "ACTUALLY PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL" THE AEE RESPONSIBLE FOR MY HOUSE.
I EXPECT YOU TO TAKE ACTION IMMEDIATELY OR ELSE I HAVE TO ESCALATE THE MATTER TO HIGHER AUTHORITIES IN BWSSB.

It is now 14 days (TWO WEEKS) since I wrote to you regarding the subject matter of EXCESS billing.
I have not received any response from AEE SE3.
I would sincerely request you to please take up the matter on URGENT BASIS and TALK to AEE SE3 over the phone and send me the requested response to my complaint & queries:
1. The reason for excess billing for May and June 2022.
2. Is the billing for May & June 2022 "CORRECT".
3. What is the "actual"amount I have to pay against June 22 bill.
4. Whether the water meter in my residence "REQUIRES" to be changed.
5. If YES, then the reason for the change and the amount.
6. Since I am out of Bangalore can the new meter be fitted after I return.
I sincerely solicit your intervention in this regard and expect you to reply within 48 hours.

SO I WROTE AGAIN TODAY 17TH AUGUST THE FOLLOWING MAIL
Dear Mr Lokesh,
I have not received any communication from any of the AEE.
I sent you a complaint on 19th July 22. It is nearly ONE month now.
Please appreciate that I am NOT in Bangalore from June 24th.
How can my water bill be so much when I am NOT CONSUMING any water.
Why are the AEEs NOT respecting your messages and giving me an answer?
Please CALL the AEE concerned and find out what is going on.
Please reply as soon as possible.
