Bangalore Water Supply & Sewerage Board [Bwssb] — supplying water from residential bore wells

Few people in our area has been supplying water from its borewell to water tankers. I believe this commercial utilization of a residential borewell is against the law. The house has conspicuously placed pipes for easy tanker filling. The owner of the building has been providing water to as many as 10+ tankers every day. This is causing rapid depletion of the groundwater level in the region.
Similarly there are around 2-3 bore wells in this area.
