Bangalore Water Supply & Sewerage Board [Bwssb] — unusually high water bill

We are residents of bangalore and we use cauvery water supply. Our monthly bill is always in the range of 500-700 rs. Past 3 months we have been getting unusually high bills. 2 months back it was 2600, last month it was 3900, and this month 7100! That's ridiculous. When we contacted bwssb, they said check the sump. We did that.in spite of that, the bills are only increasing. I have requested them to change my meter. Why are these public services so terrible? It is a nightmare to deal with them. Consumer id and type: e-211306 domestic. Rr no: 26933.
