I purchased Bose Earphones (buy 1 get 1 free) on the website https://www.bass-guru.com/ on 22nd June, 2020 with order number #39938. I received the delivery on 29th June, 2020. I paid an amount of Rs 1599/- in cash to the delivery agent from Ecom Express (logistics company) and received the package with AWB No. [protected].
When I opened the package, I was shocked to see a pair of cheap local made earphones. I tried to contact the seller number of times via phone and email to request for return and refund of my amount, but did not receive any response. The website mentioned that return and refund is available to customers in their Return Policy page (https://www.bass-guru.com/pages/return-policy).
I contacted the delivery partner (Ecom Express - https://ecomexpress.in/) twice via their helpline number to fetch details about the seller. Unfortunately, Ecom Express executives did not help me. I also requested the Ecom Express executives not to transfer the amount to Bass Guru, that they received from customers as cash on delivery. However, they denied to do so.
Later, I have noticed that there are number of complaints being filed on various consumer rights websites against Bass Guru and then I realised that Bass Guru is a fraud website selling fake products.
I sincerely request you to take serious actions against this fruadulent website https://www.bass-guru.com/ and help the victims in returning these fake products and getting back their full refundable amount.
