Noise may not seem as harmful as the contamination of air or water, but it is a pollution problem that affects human health and can contribute to a general deterioration of environmental quality.

Is it truly necessary for the garbage trucks to play loud music while collecting garbage at the most peaceful time of the day? It is safe to say that every resident can afford to keep a garbage bin outside every house gate for the facilities to pick it up every morning. Why opt for the disturbing way when there's a more peaceful way to get this done.

Issue we face every morning - every morning the garbage trucks collects garbage faithfully while disturbing the whole society. They play bollywood music at a high volume so that the residents are aware that the truck has arrived and they can drop off the garbage. While i understand this is more convenient, it is not necessary. The garbage truck boys don't even step out of their vehicles. Residents have to be on stand by mode and wait for the noise to arrive.

I agree. Does the BBMP commissioner have a truck coming and parking outside his house twice a day playing blaring useless music?
I understand you want to send out a message. Do it once in a month. Will not complain. But everyday for 5 minutes *2 times.

With work from home people work late into the night and maybe sleeping at the time of their visit or on office calls.

Initiative is good but can the volume be controlled?? Can the count be reduced to maybe just once a week if not a month??

This is the most annoying thing happening every morning, no one would like to wake up to some stupid movie songs early mornong which would spoil our entire day mood

Please stop the music n can introduce a horn or some whistle which can be blown one or twice per road...This music thing is unaccetable n is very annoying to the public...We have my sis in law who works night shift, she sleeps at 4 AM in the morning and at 7 these ### come with some nonsense music so loud tat her sleep is disturbed n she wakes up and doesnt sleep for 2 hours after tat..She is suppposed to work again from 3PM she is not getting enough 8 hours sleep due to this attrocious sounds from the BBMP garbage collectors...Please take action against this nuisance soon

sound levell is not tolerable, it's too high in Vidyaranyapura, it is hard to listen the client voice instead this sound itself will occupy every where, humble request to reduce the sound

The same is happening in horamavu. Morning at 7 am the garbage truck comes playing kannada songs at maximum volume. The level of sound is unbearable. It causes headache. And understand mostly in this area there are old people living. This level of sound will cause ear pain and can cause deafness. Anything over 85 decibel is considered damaging. This sound is x2. Imagine the truck drivers ears or head ailment. Whom do they have to go to? The people who create such rules should be well aware of such things. In the process of cleaning, let’s not create new problems for citizens. Not everyone can afford to go to hospitals on a regular basis.
