I did a transaction on the 06th of may through my google pay app. The first time it showed transaction failed. Hence i did the transaction a second time. Money was deducted from my account twice however. The merchant is on bharatpe. When i went to the merchant he is telling that money got credited only once in his account. So, i called customer care of bharatpe, they refused to assist me in this and asked me to get the merchant's number which he is refusing to share. I was ready to share all the transaction details from my side, but bharatpe guys clearly told me that nothing can be done until the merchant shares their details. It is not in my hands if the merchant shares their details or not. I can provide whatever details i have at my end.
On twitter when i raised the query and shared all the details with bharatpe, their team accepted that the money has been credited to the merchant's account. When i talked to the merchant he is refusing to accept that.
Now, it should be the responsibility of bharatpe to ask the merchant to refund the money. But bharaptpe team has outrightly denied to help.
Why should end consumer which is myself should bear the burnt of the issue? Was this information helpful? |
