This incident happened at jorhat big bazar outlet. We were billing at the counter and it so happened that the surf excel 6 kg bag was torn om the side. There was no one at the counter who could get it exchanged. She went all the way back to get it changed and there wasn't any salesperson to lift up the heavy packet and put it on the trolley. She's been suffering from back problem since 20 years now and this is the service you claim to give? While i was holding the line at bill desk and asking about the payback option to the bill desk person she told me that there was no one she could reach out for and there is poor management of personnel out there. The bill desk person gitashri dutta started showing tantrums and behaved in an unruly manner, telling we are abusing her. To our utter shock we complained the manager. The manager understood the situation and said sorry on her behalf but the girl won't budge. I asked her whether the number was printed on the bill for cashback she spoke back, 'haan aur kya kar rahi hu', in a can't you see i am doing it voice and attitude. She banged the bill drawer and was asked to stand aside. With her arms folded she yelled i am not the manager here, don't tell me anything. The customer care service person was least interested in giving us the complaint book. Overall the kind of staff they have here lacks the basic etiquette of dealing with customer and the manager just seems to be a puppet of the situations. None of the authority said a word to the sales girl in front o[censored]s inspite of accepting her mistake and apologising on her behalf. Kindly take strict actions against it. If i am not satisfied with the feedback, i will surely go to consumer court for the kind of harrowing experience she has given us.
