Dear sir/madam,
I am very disappointed with the way easyday handles consumer complaints. My parents live in muzaffarnagar, up. They were easyday club member for last one year via my father's number [protected]. Recently (Before diwali) the membership expired, i made online payment for new membership on the same mobile number [protected]. I choose circular road easyday store, filled rajangoel1970gmail.com as email and made payment of inr 999 via upi (See attached screenshot).
I instructed my father to go to circular road as i selected the same before payment. When he reached at store, staff pointed out that in confirmation mail the store mentioned was some other store in city which was very far away from my home. My father went to the store mentioned in email (Roorkee road, muzaffarnagar). But the store staff was not proficient/trained enough. No one knew how to use payment id emailed at [protected]@gmail.com to accept payment. The store manager never picked up phone (Number was mentioned in email). As the need of time my father travelled to a third store in city and tried taking membership by paying offline. But the system was showing error to give new membership on his existing number [protected]. May be it was due to the fact that online payment was already made. Store suggested to use another number for membership. Father used alternate number from home, payed online and got membership card: [protected].
Through this incident many problems were uncovered for easyday:
1. Wrong store assignment over after payment (Email).
2. Online portal allowed old mobile to enrol as fresh member.
3. Store staff is not trained for roorkee road, muzaffaranagar store and manager do not respond. No one can knows to accept online payment id to give membership card.
I was denied for the service from the store i selected before making payment as well as the one allotted by easyday, so i requested a refund for online payment i did for membership. Now that we are already enrolled by different number, we do not need additional membership. I have requested for the refund via many channels (Including calls, email, twitter), but most of the times the complaint was forwarded to some store, which tried forcing me to visit store again and have additional membership even if i no longer require it
I am really feeling harassed as no one is taking proper action required, i. E. Make a refund.
